OUR APPROACH

The Way We Work

How We Keep Projects On-Track and On-Point

Project Management

We don't just manage projects — we guide them.

Thanks to our project management techniques we can deliver your project to the finish line without unexpected surprises, budget overruns and scheduling delays. By adhering to the principles of the Project Management Institute (PMI) we are in control of the project's environment and recognize risks before they impede the success of your project. Our team has an extensive track record of managing highly technical projects through all lifecycle stages. Our managers do not manage from behind the desk but are actively involved and present at your job site.

Scheduling

Progress doesn't happen by accident.

By adapting well-tested scheduling tools, we can track the project's progress in "real-time". By utilizing the work breakdown structure (WBS) we can assess the progress of each task and each deliverable. Our master schedules are resource-loaded which allow us to ensure that properly sized crews and adequate manpower is provided to ensure no delays. Our two-week look ahead schedules allow us to further assess progress and make changes necessary to stay on track.

Cost Control

Budgets aren't suggestions.

Our goal is to complete the project within the established budget. This we achieve by not only providing an accurate estimate but also employing advanced cost tracking techniques utilizing the best project management practices and cost tracking tools. A big part of keeping your project on financial track is our change order process which ensures that any changes are justified, scrutinized and properly managed.

QA/QC

Good enough isn't good enough.

We pride ourselves on delivering not only on time and within budget, but also with the high quality you would expect from a premier contractor. Our quality control and assurance plan (QA/QC) is tailored specifically to your project. It outlines objectives, standards and procedures necessary to achieve a high-quality product. Vital elements of the QAQC plan are proper documentation, regular and thorough inspections, audits and quality training.

Safety

We don't cut corners. Ever.

Before we mobilize on any project, we do a thorough job site risk assessment to identify any potential dangers to our employees' health and life. By identifying and documenting these in our daily Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) we can prevent safety incidents and delays to the project. All our employees are OSHA-10 certified and Superintendents OSHA-30 certified.

Communication

No one likes being left in the dark.

Proper communications protocol ensures that all stakeholders are well informed of the project progress and status. We believe and practice full transparency and achieve this through several communications tools, including weekly progress reports, monthly financial statements, photo documentation and other specific reporting. We encourage weekly meetings with the Client and the engineering team to allow for collaboration and problem solving.

Discipline You Can Measure

From the first site walk to final punch, we run projects with tight controls: schedules you can trust, costs you can track, quality you can see, and communication you can count on. That discipline is what keeps work moving — without surprises — across Miami, Tampa Bay, and the rest of Florida.
